This page lets ArchĒ test outside-web research through a secure backend route. The public site remains source-locked: outside research is not approved company, catalog, pricing, legal, rights, policy, or subscription text until owner/admin review approves it.

This is for testing and future subscriber research. If the live search provider key is not connected, ArchĒ will say so and return setup instructions instead of pretending.

Backend setup

What must be connected for live web research.

The upload package includes netlify/functions/arche-research.js. To activate live search, add TAVILY_API_KEY in Netlify environment variables with Functions/runtime scope, then trigger a fresh deploy. This update adds a backend status check so you can verify the key without exposing it.
